ASYLUMZ

Asylumz marks the debut album to be released through Xealot Music's gospel division. This hip-hop praise and worship compilation album boasts 14 tracks of raw, inspirational truths from a variety of multi-talented artists. For more information on Asylumz or Xealot music visit,myspace.com/xealotmusic. Asylumz. A place of refuge for the lost. A safe haven for the misled. For some, the mere mention of church can generate feelings of hesitation and uncertainty. The members of Asylumz have made it their mission to establish sanctuary for the abandoned.

With an understanding of the concept that a church can operate as a negative haven, similar to a prison, the Asylumz have taken it upon themselves to act as a temple of GOD; an airborne church, with focus far beyond the bricks of the building. In today’s society, religious rules and regulations have created a closed door manifesto to the previous open door policy of churches. Those that are in desperate need of the word are not as effectively pursued or encouraged.

With their work on Skid Row, the Asylumz have assumed responsibility in serving others spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. The heart of Asylumz is the concept of freedom. Does that individual you aspire to help feel condemnation in your presence or do they perceive you to be an image of refuge and comfort? The men and women of Asylumz are not confined to the aisles of the church, but venture far beyond the corners of Skid Row. Contrived of individuals of various walks of life, but embodied by ONE.

The Asylumz welcome you home.
