The price to be a part of it works out to $0.05 per CD to be on it, and with all the other promo material we press up & distribute like digital download business cards & promo flyers, the cost works out to less than $0.02 cents a piece for the promo & exposure that your music ministry will get Nationwide. Where else can you reach so many potential music buyers & listeners for pennies with an actual CD that has YOUR MUSIC on it???
The cost to participate is only $250 ( to help cover the expenses of pressing up 5,000+ cds, 5,000 Digital Download Business Cards, design of the CD artwork, 5,000 promo flyers for the project). All artists involved will have their contact info included in the cd booklet (website, myspace, phone#,etc), and their name & myspace or website listed on the . AND receive 100 copies of the CD, plus 200 digital download business cards to send people to the DBP Music site to download the entire project for FREE, along with promo flyers for the project. The remaining CD's will be given away for FREE at youth groups, concerts, music festivals, and to Urban Youth Pastors across the country. This year's DBP Music CD will be passed out to over 2,000 Pastors & Ministry Leaders at the CCDA Conference ( Christian Community Development Association) in Ohio this October. DBP Music Vol.4 will also be serviced to our radio mailing list.

THE FIRST ANNUAL CHRISTIAN DJ CONFERENCE IS COMING TO NEW YORK CITY
The Higher Ground Record Pool (HGRP) International DJ Conference will debut this September

On Sept. 21-22, 2009, The Higher Ground Record Pool (HGRP)/1 Accord DJ Alliance will host their 1st annual DJ Conference. This milestone also marks the creation of the 1st National DJ conference for the Faith-based community. The Higher Ground Record Pool (HGRP)/1 Accord DJ Alliance Conference is geared to educate, empower, and mobilize Gospel/Christian DJs while equipping them in grassroots promotions and business stabilization. This will all take place in the city where DJs (Hip Hop and Gospel) where birthed: New York City. Through a combination of workshops, seminars, DJ exhibits, awards, showcases and some “Holy Ghost” partying, attendees will leave with a better understanding of the role DJs, Artists, Industry Execs, Radio, Retail, and Record Labels play for someone aspiring to enter the Faith-based music industry. NY based President of HGRP Dr. D says, “With the raise of artists driven monolithic syndicated urban radio shows, it’s time for a reorganizes DJ driven movement”. With the trend of today’s music boasting digital appeal -from the marketing of the product to where it is purchased-, Gospel DJ’s hold the key to opportunity that our General Market counterparts are currently reaping the rewards of. The Higher Ground 1 Accord Gospel DJ Conference 2009 is our bridge to understanding, unveiling and seeding this new land for our community.
